Denver Burgers introduce a winter experience with new Idaho-themed burger.
REXBURG, Idaho, Nov. 15, 2018 – Rexburg’s and St. Anthony’s local Denver Burgers restaurants introduced a new hamburger designed to reflect winter, ice and potatoes with the Idaho Cold Stuffed Burger on Monday.
The burger’s ingredients include dill pickles, cucumbers, lettuce, ketchup and potato wedges. Bologna cold cuts, apple slices, and bleu cheese top it off. Northwest farmers grew or produced all the ingredients found in the burger.
“Idaho’s winters need pizazz all year-round.” Vice-President of Menus, David Ricks said, introducing the new entrée. “This burger will provide the icy experience so many people crave.”
The bun, made from potato bread with sesame seeds, is sliced into three parts. It’s two meat patties total one-quarter pound. The grade-A beef originates from the stockyards near Twin Falls and is cooked using a Denver Burgers wood-stove.
“Many companies today add heat to the menu with peppers and other items,” said chief chef Sally Otter. “But at Denver Burgers, we see that people in our fast-paced world need Idaho. They need to slow down. They need cool.”
Those interested in trying the burger can only find it at the Rexburg and St. Anthony Denver Burgers restaurants.
“This new burger will provide that memory of cool winters and cool mountain breezes.” Vice-President Trina McPherson said, “It is the essence of everything Idaho.”
